The Taipei Computer Association (TCA) was founded in 1974 by 15 member companies. It now has more than 3,100 corporate members across 18 cities and counties in Taiwan. Its business scope covers software, hardware systems, semiconductor and electronic component design and manufacturing, domestic and international sales, intelligent system integration, network communications services, and e-commerce. The total capital of its members reaches NT$1.88 trillion, with more than 740,000 employees in Taiwan. Its output accounts for more than 85% of Taiwan's ICT industry. Currently, the Association has offices in Taipei, Taichung, and Kaohsiung, as well as liaison offices in Tokyo, Beijing, and Bengaluru, India, providing members with a wide range of exhibition, project, and information services.
